Switching climate control on/off
To switch on: set the
airflow to level 1 or
higher using the button.
To switch off: set the
airflow to level 0 using
the button.
If climate control is switched off, the windows
may fog up more quickly. Switch climate control
off only briefly.
Switching the A/C function on/off using the air conditioning control panel
The A/C function heats, cools and dehumidifies
the vehicle's interior air.
Press the
button.
Switch off the A/C function only briefly. Otherwise,
the windows could fog up more quickly.
Condensation may drip from the underside of
the vehicle when cooling mode is active. This is
not indicative of a malfunction.

Select one of the temperature
displays at the
lower edge of the media display.
Activating/deactivating the A/C function via the multimedia system
The A/C function heats, cools and dehumidifies
the vehicle's interior air.
Call up the air-conditioning
menu
Select First Row of Seats.
Select A/C.
Setting climate control to automatic mode
In automatic mode, the set temperature is controlled
and maintained at a constant level by the
air supply.
Press the
button.
To switch to manual mode:
press the or
button.
NOTE Plug-in hybrid
Observe the notes in the
Supplement.
You could otherwise fail to recognize
dangers.
The indicator lamps on the buttons indicate that
the corresponding function is activated...
Climate style function
The following climate styles are available in automatic
mode:
FOCUS: high airflow, slightly cooler setting
MEDIUM: medium airflow, standard setting
DIFFUSE: low airflow, slightly warmer and
draft-free setting

Other information:
WARNING Risk of injury through damaged

Damaged tires can cause tire pressure loss.
Check the tires regularly

tire grip...
Function of the ATA system
If the ATA system is armed, a visual and audible
alarm is triggered in the following situations:
When a door is opened
When the tailgate is opened
When the hood is opened
When the interior motion sensor is triggered
When the tow-away alarm is triggered
The ATA system is armed automatically after
approximately ten seconds in the following situations:
After locking the vehicle with the SmartKey
After locking the vehicle using KEYLESS-GO
Indicator lamp flashes when the
ATA system
is armed...
