WARNING Risk of accident due to
adjusting vehicle settings while the vehicle
is in motion
You could lose control of the vehicle in the
following situations in particular:
- If you adjust the driver's seat, the head
restraints, the steering wheel or the mirror
while the vehicle is in motion.
- If you fasten your seat belt while the vehicle
is in motion.
Before starting the
engine: adjust the
driver's seat, the head restraints, the
steering wheel and the mirror and fasten
your seat belt.
WARNING Risk of injury due to head
restraints not being installed or being
adjusted incorrectly
If head restraints have not been installed or
have not been adjusted correctly, there is an
increased risk of injury in the head and neck
area, e.g. in the event of an accident or when
braking.
Always drive with the
head restraints
installed.
Before driving off, make
sure for every
vehicle occupant that the center of the
head restraint supports the back of the
head at about eye level.
Do not interchange the head restraints of the
front and rear seats. Otherwise, you will not be
able to adjust the height and angle of the head
restraints correctly.
Adjust the head restraint fore-and-aft position so
that it is as close as possible to the back of your
head.

To raise: pull the head
restraint up.
To lower: press release
knob
in the direction
of the arrow and push the head restraint
down.
To move forwards: pull
the head restraint
forwards.
To move backwards: press
and hold release
knob
.
Push the head restraint
backwards and let go
of release knob
.
Other information:
If Active Blind Spot Assist detects a risk of a side
impact in the monitoring range, a course-correcting
brake application is carried out. This is
designed to help you avoid a collision.

in the speed range between approximately
20 mph (30 km/h) and 125 mph (200 km/h)...

completion and assists you in achieving the
most economical driving style.
You can influence consumption by doing the following:
Driving with particular care
Driving the vehicle in drive program
Observing the gearshift recommendations
The inner segment will light up and the outer
segment will fill up when the following driving
style is adopted:
Moderate acceleration
Gentle deceleration and
rolling
Consistent speed
The inner segment will not light up and the outer
segment will empty when the following driving
style is adopted:
Sporty acceleration
Heavy braking
Fluctuations in speed
The ECO display will show you when you have
driven economically:
The three outer segments are completely filled
