WARNING Risk of accident due to adjusting vehicle settings while the vehicle is in motion
You could lose control of the vehicle in the following situations in particular:
Before starting the
engine: adjust the
driver's seat, the head restraints, the
steering wheel and the mirror and fasten
your seat belt.
WARNING Risk of injury due to head restraints not being installed or being adjusted incorrectly
If head restraints have not been installed or have not been adjusted correctly, there is an increased risk of injury in the head and neck area, e.g. in the event of an accident or when braking.
Always drive with the
head restraints
installed.
Before driving off, make
sure for every
vehicle occupant that the center of the
head restraint supports the back of the
head at about eye level.
Do not interchange the head restraints of the front and rear seats. Otherwise, you will not be able to adjust the height and angle of the head restraints correctly.
Adjust the head restraint fore-and-aft position so that it is as close as possible to the back of your head.
To raise: pull the head
restraint up.
To lower: press release
knob
in the direction
of the arrow and push the head restraint
down.
To move forwards: pull
the head restraint
forwards.
To move backwards: press
and hold release
knob
.
Push the head restraint
backwards and let go
of release knob
.
