Mercedes-Benz GLC : Mirrors / Front-passenger outside mirror parking position function
The parking position makes parking easier.
The front-passenger outside mirror will swivel
downwards in the direction of the rear wheel on
the front passenger's side when:
- The parking position is stored.
- The front-passenger mirror is selected.
- Reverse gear is engaged.
The front-passenger outside mirror will move
back to its original position when:
- You shift the transmission to another transmission position.
- You are traveling at a speed greater than 9 mph (15 km/h).
- You press the button for the outside mirror on the driver's side.
WARNING Risk of acid burns and poisoning due to the anti-glare
mirror electrolyte
Electrolyte may escape if the glass in an automatic anti-glare mirror
breaks...
Storing
Select the front-passenger
outside mirror
using button .
Engage reverse gear.
Move the front-passenger outside
mirror into
the desired parking position using button
...
Other information:
Observe the notes on cleaning and care to avoid
damaging the paintwork.
Paint
Insect remains: soak with insect remover and
rinse off the treated areas afterwards.
Bird droppings: soak with water and rinse off
afterwards.
Tree resin, oils, fuels and greases: remove by
rubbing gently with a cloth soaked in petroleum
ether or lighter fluid...
